Recycle electronics today

TAMPA - Do you have no-longer-used electronic equipment? The Coast Guard Auxiliary and several green organizations would like to take it off your hands.
Until 2 p.m. today, the groups will collect toxic, unused consumer electronics, including computer components, fax and copy machines, radios, televisions and the like at the Gandy Boat Ramp, 5108 W. Gandy Blvd. in Tampa.

There is a nominal fee for the disposal of the equipment that goes toward the expense of collecting, shipping and safely dismantling the equipment.
